I am still working on the help file for my Layered Spritesheet Tool... as you can see below:
It isn't small, is it?
I do get a bit long winded, but I am now covering how one creates a resource pack.... a set of resources for a given art style or item. So if someone was interested in crafting and releasing a complete characterset resource pack based upon ChronoTrigger-like sprites, this section I am working on will hopefully teach one the foundations.
And no, you are not mistaken. There is a info-window (in a nice light apricot) that talks about the now-extinct Half Kaiser Construction Project of 2008. I felt a little history lesson was warranted. And indeed, the url visible at the very bottom is a "Wayback Machine" link. And no-less an active link which the reader CAN click and open a new window to access the HKCP's main post one day after it was created.
I spent hours fleshing this section out, trying to explain why a developer needs to use specific folders, file names... etc. But this is just the 1st chapter. FUN stuff coming up next.
