Welcome dear readers to the latest issue of the Weekly Gazette! Here in the Gazette, we give you the news in brief of what occurred in the past week as well as provide any news happening in Save-Point itself

While DerVVuflman worked upon A Fix to block GMail Spammers... PERIOD!, StrangeAutomaton gave advice to anyone using gMail on the use of their built-in filters to make mail sorting easier, And while he said the current anti-Period blcok won't end spammer entries, DerVVulfman replied how many spambots indeed use the same eMails until they become blacklisted.

This week, shippya showed up. Familiar, not only with the RPGMaker line of engines, but with a Bachelors Degree, shippya is interested in creating a game with that college learning. DerVVulfman gave a howl and was curious what kind of gaming art skills shippya was familiar.

General Chat

Getting some rest might be on the mind of kyonides this week as he got to celebrate World Sleep Day.

The war in Iran still hits this week's News of the World as over 95% of Iran's arsenals have been destroyed. And more recently decimated every weapon and military base on Iran's crown jewel and refinery site, the Kharg Island. Still, shots are fired including cluster warheads explode over Israel and a missile striking the US Embassy in Bagdhad, Iraq. But while Iran has shown indiscriminate fire in the region, they made claim that only US and Israeli ships are being targeted in the Strait of Hormuz, a desperate attempt to save face. And as to Iran's newly appointed Supreme Leader, the son of Ayatollah Khamenei, Khamenei’s own will explicitly asked Mojtaba not to be named as an impotent cleric who achieved nothing. Threats against both leaders in the US and Israel have been brought, with Netanyahu laughing after finding out that Iran claimed they had him assassinated. Violence has since erupted, with three terror-based attacks last week. But it was revealed that the Michigan car bomber who attacked a synagogue the brother of a killed Hezbollah commander. And the same week, posted that the Old Dominion Shooter was out on good behavior following a conviction of giving material support ISIS. There is support to have the Iranian goverment topple, even in College campuses throughout California. However, Democrats do not see it that way, with only Pennsylvania's Fetterman as an eception, he reminding his fellow Democrats that Kamala Harris herself labeled Iran as a world threat during her election campaign. In Australia, members of Iranian women’s soccer team were granted asylum by Australia, even those just calling for asylum at the last minute before their flight. Australians themselves came face-to-face with Iranians who attempted to breach and violate the soccer team's asylum. Sadly, Iran has worked to apply pressure against their asylum claims, stating that Australia had kidnapped the women. And one of the soccer players relented and returned nce revealed her family is now 'missing'. How long can Russia's aggression against Ukraine continue? That is a question as it came to light that Russia erased video showing an ailing Vladimir Putin. And insofar as trust with Moscow, more men are signing up to defeat Russia rather than have a weak peace accord. Zelensky is calling on the US to apply more pressure on Russia as talks with Russia have agains stalled. Meanwhile, Russia has been supporting Iranian forces with drone technology. And it was just revealed that Moscow was involved in Havana syndrome, an illness ivolving migranes, hearing loss and blindness that attacked US officials. The strange tale of Jeffrey Epstein continues, with new documents to be released by the UK this coming Wednesday related to the appointment of Peter Mandelson as ambassador to the US. As to Epstein's death in prison, new content shows one of his guards googled Epstein minutes prior to his death, that guard having received cash deposits, falsifying records, and more. Understandably, the House Oversight Committee wants to interview that guard. And now, New Mexico authorities have descended on Jeffrey Epstein’s Zorro Ranch under the claims that dead foreign girls are buried there. UK real estate including apartments near the Israeli Embassy tied to Iran's new Supreme Leader, Former German Chancellor Angela Merkel who pushed the European migrant crisis of 2016 calling on migrants to vote against Populist AfD Party. shots fired outside the US consulate in Toronto with no suspects, Trump invokes Defense Production Act, to reopen oil production, an act California's Governor brandished as illegal, Jasmine Crockett’s fugitive security guard identified as the armed man who police shot in a parking garage, Zohran Mamdani’s Gracie Mansion evacuated for a suspicious device found harmless, and so much more hit this week's news.

Once more has AI hit the News of the Cyber World, with OpenAI embroiled in a lawsuit as its ChatGPT failed to notify law enforcement about threats identified in ducussions with the Tumbler Ridge Massacre shooter. And an error with an AI-based Facial Recognition System in North Dakota put a Tennessee grandmother in jail for 6 months. The video game company Valve is facing headaches both in the US and in the UK. In New York, they're being charged with illegal gambling practices that target children while their later comments against violence in games heralds hysteria of the past. And in the UK, an activist group is suing Valve for releasing games with music that they indeed have the license to use, but claims it gives them no rights to distribute the music within those games. An Uber co-founder joining the mass migration out of California, Musk's Full self driving disaster in Texas, TikTokers destroy a farm for viral photos, and more hit the cybernews this week.

The world has had enough of Chinese Hackers, the CL-UNK-1068 operation targeting multiple targets throughout all of East Asia infiltrating both Windows and Linux based systems combined. Qatar was infiltrated by operation Camaro Dragon, and its oil and gas sector threatened with timing suspiciously in concert with events in the joint US/Israel conflict with Iran. Costa Rica is one among fourty countries attacked by China, their recent security breach of their energy sector an act a crime under Costa Rican and international law. And the US has charged a dozen Chinese Nationals with cybercrimes, noting how Chine hires corporations to perform the cybercrimes themselves for cover and deniability. Sources reveal these corporations receive approximately $10,000 and $75,000 for each email inbox it has successfully hacked.

WEre tou to ask What's up among the RMers in the forum, Remi-chan has crossed off over 75% of her list of events to rework, and released a number of videos, be they recoded battles or the Steam Trailer for her third Fantasia Demo. And she also received a new character sprite to join her Cloud Nymph army, a crystal blue winged nymph of Ice. However, Remi-chan is starting to worry once more for her portrait artist whom she had not been able to contact for weeks. Meanwhile, DerVVulfman is kicking himself, finding that the remedy to a background issue within his Windows Widgets system only took minutes to fix only a day after his last upgrade.

Though she received new characterset art, Remi-chan preferred to instead present within the Maps and screenshots thread other work from her game, be it the interior of alien ships, the true devotion of a demoness, and the horror of memories past.

The time comes nigh with the rebirth of Rave Heart+, and an ecstatic Starmage has presented a promotional image with a sylized compilations of the character profiles you will soon encounter.

This week, Frikitty released the first chapter of her four part series, B&F 1 - The dark corridor. A self-contained story of its own, you encounter the foolhearty and heroic Fendi and his spellbook transcribing friend Bila as they break into and invade a building... for righteousness sake. B&F is a turn-based series with wizards and robots, evil and violence made with RPGMaker MV. The first chapter is a primer, and is to introduce you to the world created by FriKitty. She noted that the game has no official rating. But with romance, action, and apparent claims of politics by some, she recommends that the game is only for those 16 years or older. The post has a link to her Itch.Io page where you can acquire the Windows or Linux editions of the game, and the separate 47MB resources package.

The update that DerVVulfman made a week ago was short-lived as he returned with a vengeance with a new version of Windows Widgets!. With an enormous Technical Guide supplied, his work included refinement to methods needed to List widgets, ensured filenames were shown in alphabetic order, remedied why some file extension icons did not show, and much more.

One would hope that the ceremonies within a church would be filled with joy. But there may yet be instances where a marriage goes awry. And for those who need to create a vignette of such a ceremony to end badly, the Various RMXP sprites by Ace_V now contains spritework for two new reactions for a bride now left at the alter.

Music and Audio

Just as the weekend comes to a close, the doors open within thae forum's auditorium for another perormance within DoubleX's Music Room and his piece entitled "Devoid Of Expectations" reflecting on help more oft never appearing when in need. But despite the despairing description, the melody is more sanguine and uplifting. The opening strings beginning a measure not quite suited for violinwork still offered a hint of relief with each measure's rise. It continued even as deep brass sounded during the second verse. But after that, it was the sounds of a guitar that replaced the violin strumming which more suited the serene measure and melody.

Art and Design

A reveal and a release have both become within Remi-chan's Neato Arty thread thing! Sketchwork though it may be, but the katana carying feline of snow and shades is one set to be her next work to undertake. For this week, it is the reveal of the golden-eyed WitchHunter. Nola may appear young, and with bright wings reminiscent of a delicate monarch butterfly she may appear gentle. But her past garnered her such titles as "The Black Death" and "The Queen of Spades".for her lethal grace and deadly accuracy. Vbrant and rich in colours, a span of seven hours has been compressed to eleven minutes for the speed draw to show Remi-chan at her craft.

Things get CRAZY AND WILD with GIMP FILTERS ON A WOLF as Solitaire returns with the puppy from last week and applies filters. But after that, a concert is performed by her sprited musicians.

Literature

Your guess is as good as anyone's if you read the latest of Remi-chan's Writing Snippets~ and try to figure out how such bawdy, puckish dialogue would make its way into a game about surviving a universal cataclysm. However, Remi-chan did announce it was for Aprill Fools day content. So try and picture such discourse with entities jovial, serious and cold.

Filmography

It is a tradition that a video appear, one that depicts the evolution of her game. So within the foyer of Remi-chan's Cinematic Theatre, one will be able to see her most recent trailer to Fantasia. A Cinematic trailer that focuses upn characters ratehr than story or action, Remi-chan admits that some scenes do not as yet appear. However, some shots may yet be included and become part of her game's canon.
