I have no idea if the title of the thread will change anytime soon.  But it is apt for what I've done ever so often for a fellow Save-Pointer who also streams games. You may know her...  Siletrea.

After being involved in her Friday streams, I decided to have fun and find art from the games she was streaming, and superimpose her in place of the principle character.  I started off small, in a way.

  

The first game I did this for, the visual novel (of sorts) sequel to ChronoTrigger

 

 

And then, she started ChronoCross which is DEFINITELY

in the same world as Chrono's

These are early ones... simple in my opinion.  But they were fun to display within her Discord (or those we're a part) the day before the stream as advertisements. I just wish I began doing these when she was playing ChronoTrigger, Spyro or the Zelda games before.

However, there will be more to come.

After Sil had those first streams of CronoCross, I decided to have a little more fun and try to make her jaw drop.

How did Sil get into this mess... let alone the outfit?

Hehehe... she's even wearing her little red bow on the helmet in this shot.

Yeah, I had a LOT of fun.

The first was a 'sorta' simple replacement of Harle's face within the jester outfit.  But the second was more in-depth, having to also doctor the hands of Lynx and replace them with the 3-digit talons of Sil's wyvern model.

Sil's feathery wings?  Not really a problem except having to deal with every individual feather getting outlined and framed.  Sometimes I'll kinda make them semi-translucent for effect.

       

And a parting remark...  I do not have Photoshop.  All of this was done solely with GIMP, and MSPaint just to snag any screenshots.

I had a little fun with the next advert pic with this little image:

 

 
I essentially wanted to keep viewers about the reveal.

 

Even Siletrea was shocked when she saw this!

 

 
Someone made an actual Siletrea Plushee!  But I couldn't leave it alone.
I had to give her Kid's necklace and vest.

I replaced Harle once more and had Siletrea don the Jester outfit.

When Siletrea was playing ChronoCross, she played hard. Mind you, she is a completionist so she will go for any and every achievement possible. Granted, a multiple ending game that the CHRONO series presented did prevent that as you needed to perform different things for different outcomes.


Ah, here I yet again replaced Kid with Sil.

I am so glad I have footage of Sil in a number of poses, otherwise I would not have been able to get the head shot required for this. I had to pay special attention to her arms as they are generally just to her sides when streaming and barely bent at the elbow. And not many may notice, but her gloved hands clutching the dagger now appear for a three-taloned individual and not a teenage girl with five fingers.



Siletrea's last stream of ChronoCross, and the last time I replaced Kid.

This time was interesting because I had to put Sil's visage through a type of oil and pastel distortion to give her the same acrylics and oils effect as Harle and the outfit that Kid wore.

These are what I did for the last stream she had for Chrono Cross, but not the last ones by a long shot.

I admittedly misread the title at first as "Steam" instead of "Stream", and my brain went on a tangent of picturing a steampunk Frankinstein in a top hat.
This is even better though! Some very good edits here, very interesting and fun

Not everything Siletrea did was gaming.  Okay, most was.  But she did art too.



She was having a very chill art stream, playing her own tunes while working on spriting body armor for ... Chocobos.  No joke, it was for someone working on a mod.

The pic was pretty easy... I just did a search for an art easel and a beret that was worn in a relatively correct angle.  I don't think I could have found better!  Of course, I had to add a picture of a Chocobo onto the easel to match what she was working on in-stream.


THIS ... was unexpected. Like some of the Zelda games, Sil played the first of the Bendy games before I began doing thse art pieces.



Spooky games is not normally her thing, though she finally got into it by the end of the first one.  Some fun characters.  However, her reactions to the jumpscares and threats did offer me a wonderful reaction which I was able to use in this render.



There were only two streams for Bendy and the Dark Revival, Sil going through those like a champ.  And she had SO MUCH FUN WHEN THE TABLES TURNED AT THE END!

There wasn't much to these renders, basically finding shots and advertisements from the franchise and pasting them in place.  The most difficult part was in the second Bendy pic when I replaced the face of Audrey (the principle character) with Sil's, and returned the same starburst effects that appeared in the original shot.

Oh, yes.  The characters in the second Bendy advert had a thick white border around them, just as the original advertisement shot.  There is a 'slight' black border outline visible here.  But where they were posted, you couldn't see it at all.

Would it be a surprise to know that Siletrea decided to try playing Tears of the Kingdom???



Streaming-wise, it was short-lived.  I mean, how many korok seeds can one collect?  And while the game suggests you are looking for Zelda, the game was pretty much a sandbox "go and build it" game.
 
Still, Sil has a soft spot for Link...
 
So much so, she decided to tackle THIS beast.

Arguably the hardest of the Franchise,  the 2nd Zelda game released on the Nintendo Entertainment System was unique in gameplay style, opting for a sideview action based combat system instead of top-down as was more the norm, and offered plenty of enemies hurling missiles that were near impossible to avoid.

Oh, indeed, her second stream of Zelda, she was ticked!  She intended to beat the game! Thanks to the RPG element of the game, she found entertaining ways to level up.  Indeed, she was finding ways to just farm points and get all the red and blue potions she needed.  Oh, and a word of warning... if playing the fan-made faithful-as-hell recreation, the game 'corrects' a lost treasure location that was improperly placed in the original.   Indeed, the original game left a clue to say "GO HERE" and was way off base.  The faithful recreation took care of it.

And gave you one plucked-up practical joke.
 
Both pieces of art above were fun, having to work with thick borders for Siletrea's model while working to make her character look less 3-D and more in keeping with the iniital art itself.  Its always entertaining to turn a five-fingered hand into a 3-taloned claw.
 


Siletrea's last stream really amounted to the last castle.

Mind you, there were plenty of activities she had to perform.   Ever beat a castle dungeon boss with a CHICKEN?

Indeed, she actually one of the enemy castle bosses with a chicken... 100% 

This was the last of the Zelda streams, she having beaten the game quite effectively.  Oh, we know that "Echoes of Wisdom" is out.  In fact, its likely the next game scheduled when things start normalizing... Holidays n stuff ya know?

But... watch out.  Sil played one more massive game after "The Adventures of Link", and I have more artwork to display.

I need to find an excuse to have you do an art for one of my thumbnails that combined my dopey 2D vtuber along with the box art but i cannot for the life of my think of how to make this work!

Terraria which is our current focus, has no characters on the box art, maybe when i start doing infinity nikki streams? (Yes, that is planned, one is likely to happen on the 29th for you fellas (the 30th for me))
