Welcome dear readers to the latest issue of the Weekly Gazette! Here in the Gazette, we give you the news in brief of what occurred in the past week as well as provide any news happening in Save-Point itself

This week, DerVVulfman unveiled some Shiny Themes and Shiny Buttons!. No longer are you limited to the default skin for the forum, but nine others. But along with that, the forum's top menu now contains a shiny gold donation button for those who wish to give a little gift for the site's maintenance and costs.

General Chat

A bit of amusement was on the mind of Remi-chan early this past week, she not having to deal with Daylights Saving time in Australia.

This week, the News of the World had seen the Demoratic Party suffer public scrutiny for their behavior during President Trump's speech to congress, with Senator Fetterman criticizing his own part that they wouldn't even applaude for a young cancer survivor. But he wasn't alone in being critical as Chicago citizens now slam Democrats for attempting to use race to defend their sanctuary city policies, In the US's aim to securre their border, new reports show illegal crossings have dropped to only 3% of what it was under the Biden Administration. Charges are being filed against two members of the DHS who intentionally leaked information on ICE raids. And Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's aide self-deported himself back to Columbia, an illegal immigrant himself. Outside the US, Iran slammed the US after receiving a letter from President Trump asking to hold negotiations to halt its nuclear program. But regarding Ukraine, the rare earth mineral deal with Zelenskyy is still on board. The discovery of $20 Million in graft and the subsequent dropping of DEI in the University of Virginia, the stranded astronaut's claim Biden left them up at the I.S.S., the tragic death of Luxembourg’s Prince Frederick at 22, the bomb threat at Barnard College during their anti-Israeli protest, and more hit this week's news.

Starmage returned to update the cover art for Esper Unleashed, her submission to the 6th Annual Driftwood Gaming Game Jam. Rather than keeping the Leonardo AI generated art, she has been endeavoring to replace it all with content utilizing her own skills.

RPGMaker XP (RGSS) Engine

If you want to have a little extra wobble to your map's atmosphere, DerVVulfman crafted Shaky Fog. The script allows the game developer to deploy fogs upon maps that can shake in the same manner as the built-in shake screen effect. Unsure, but DerVVulfman believes he worked on a variation of this script for Aveyond_fan.

Last week, an air conditioner window unit was one of the recently added Various RMXP sprites by Ace_V. But upon a request by DerVVulfman, an exterior, back view of a window unit was included. But not only that, but a sideview charater was also supplied.

Music and Audio

If anyone is working on a game that demands music that is low-fidelity, let's not forget that Eric Matyas has Original Music and Sound FX - Over 2000 Tracks that he is willing to share, though he does have quality selections that are in OggVorbis. While he has a large selection of pieces, he just released two remastered versions of compositions from only last month. However, Eric revisited one of his quirkier pieces and too reworked into a low-fidelity format.

Art and Design

This week, only one image of DerVV's Stream FrankenArts was revealed, but DerVVulfman appeared quite pleased with how it came out. A larger picture showing a very tiny Siletrea flying away in panic from a creature from Monster Hunter World, he goes into some detail on what techniques he used when merging the arts together.

If you decided to walk through the halls of the forum's gallery in order to view Remi-chan's Neato Arty thread thing, you would discover four new pencillings. While one of her characters is shooting coins out of her hand, two others are posing meek and mild. As to the fourth, meek and mild is certainyly not in his dictionary.

Her first released work since last year, a greeting card honoring Women's Day appeared within Starmage's Arts and Training Journey. Feel free to enjoy her artwork with characters rendered from Stellar Bewitching, Rave Heart and Heroes of the Seasons.
