Welcome dear readers to the latest issue of the Weekly Gazette! Here in the Gazette, we give you the news in brief of what occurred in the past week as well as provide any news happening in Save-Point itself

This week's News of the World begins with Greenland and US President Trump's work to acquire the island. Trump had expressed this need just as Russia is strengthening its arctic presence while China is getting footholds in Canada. But while a dealto gain the world's largest island may be in the works, it is no comfort to the native Greenlanders who have distain for Danish rule. Simultaenously, NATO nations, Democrats in the US and a number of Republicans have all promised to prevent the island's acquisition. Violence and threats thereof are plaguing the United States, Massachussettes DJs calling for the assassination of the Vice President, Washington State Researchers calling for the murder of conservative social media personalities, veiled threats being made against White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, and attacks on federal officers continue in Minneapolis It is no surprise that the Department of Justice is now investigating Minnesota officials over obstruction charges. And of the unsealing of the Jeffrey Epstine files, the DOJ is working around the clock to process all the documentation, focust primarily on redacting information so the release would not compromise victims’ privacy. And in a surprise turn about, hosts on "The View" actively call upon the Clintons to comply with the federal subponenas on the Epstein matter. In the middle east, nothing is more unstable than Iran who had been asked to remove itself from joint naval exercises with China and Russia after the US rebuked and reminded those involved how Iran has been a state sponsor of terror. Despite video footage and an estimated bodycount of sixteen thousand, Iranian Foreign Minister denies concerns over executions while calling the violence an Israeli plot. But while it appeared that the slaughter of protestors had subsided, the truth came out that many are now held prison within their homes by machine-gun wielding security. Even worse, an Iranian commander’s distraught daughter revealed that the regime leaders are killing their own children if they speak out. As this is going on, exiled Iranian Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi says the regime is close to collapse and had issued a 6-point plan to exert even more pressure on Tehran. Meanwhile, US President Trump is calling on nations invited into the U.N. sanctioned Board of Peace to contribute at least $1 billion. Its unsure how the board would interact with the U.N. as the latter's global reputation and funding had taken painful hits. But its charter is to promote stability, lawful governance and peace in areas targeted, and Gaza itself is one of their prime subjects. And in Costa Rica, it was reported that a plot to execute President Rodrigo Chaves was uncovered. But the critic accused and the activist who was part of the alleged money trail to a hit-man both called the accusations nonsense and political in nature. The Activist stating such an act violates her morals. This assassination plot reported on the heels of a new mega-prison in the works.

It is funny, if you ask Remi-chan What's up? For the moment she started taking a break from her game, that bothe her sprite artist and character portrait artist kept active. New sprites for both harpy-like and bat-winged NPCs have appeared in pink and red. And winged nyphs with wings of goldenrod and powder have now been brought forth.

It wasn't long after Remi-chan received new spritework for one of her side-quest characters that she returned to the Maps and screenshots thread to deliver a pair of shots from her game. Though the portrait art for the scenes would garner the most attention.

Continuing his work on the keybindings system within HiddenChest RGSS Player Executable, kyonides added KChangeKeys HC itself as a Hidden script within its code, and converted the Graphics.block_f1 methods from C++ into pure ruby code. He later removed more C++ code that was ported over to Ruby where necessary, updated the stretch_blt method of the Bitmap class to accept rectangle symbols, and included a new log system that will be generated if a bitmap/image file is missing while simultaneously preventing the game from crashing.

One feature that may have been overlooked is the ability Add time to an active Timer. How many racing games give you bonus time to continue as you pass checkpoints? Hither unto this, Ace_V asked if there was a means to grant bonus time to the timer system with RPGMaker XP in mind. With merely two lines of code, DerVVulfnan showed Ace_V how to accomplish the task, and went on to describt in detail the mechanics and the use of the Graphics.frame_rate property. This followed by kyonides who continued on why newer engines were defined with higher framerate capabilities. Ace_V was astonished the level of information, and took notes.

DerVVulfman released some more code for Visual Basic users, the The PNG (Portable Network Graphics) Class has now been released. With it, Visual Basiv 6 users will be able to access .png files, the well known and popular format that was not accessible with VB6.

Now taking a break from medical staff, a gentleman in a suit ant die now appears among the Various RMXP sprites by Ace_V. A green tie contrasting the black suit, the individual also comes with laughter and comfort poses.

Music and Audio

If you are unsure what future will befall, you are not alone as the latest composition within DoubleX's Music Room asks much the same. The sixty-first composition in his album, "Point of No Return" is a work with rapid fire piano fingerwork offset at the start by violins and brass symbolizing how it seems time slips away so fast. But towards the bridge,a choruns unfolds. Will it herald a blessed outcome or fateful future? Even that is unsure.

Art and Design

The museup of art within the forum continues to grow as yet another one of Remi-chan's Neato Arty thread thingies had been presented within her gallery. Enricled in flames, what appears both feral and femme is the last of Abaddon.A new character creation, the motif for this equine demoness is the Chinese Year of the Horse and its blazon-wrapped-ebony appearance attributed to the Nightmare steed from Dungeons and Dragons. For there is little chance that Remi-chan based any single bit from Umamusume: Pretty Derby.

Literature

Death rides a horse. But in the fantasy universe found wmong Remi-chan's Writing Snippets~, the steed are unholy monstrosities that wreak bloodshed upon all. The weak, the infirm, the moral, the immoral. Nothing but pure and immeasurable strength can reign a single one. Who would dare try to take the reigns of nightmare steeds of flame and sadistic carnage.

Filmography

While the footage is new within Remi-chan's Cinematic Theatre, the scene presented is years old. The triumphand end montage to Remi-chan's game Intelligence: The 314th Clash which takes characters from various games and intrroduces them into the larger universe. A peaceful scene she plans to rework when she takcles a rewrite of the game itself.
