I'll have you know that my Honor Play is a really great phone. Huge battery, good camera, 64 gigs storage, fast processor and 4 gigs RAM.
Also a good looking phone. It only cost me €270, new!

Careful though folks, you're wrong about this news. It's not current phones that are affected, it's future phones. Huawei still has access to Google Play on current phones but will not have it in the future.
The biggest issue is that it no longer has access to any Android updates on ANY device, even current ones.

What pisses me off is that we all know everyone and their mum is spying through phones and computer chips (Intel chips have a sub-sub hidden BIOS which can access the internet, did you know?) so why are they attacking the Chinese company for it? All the other companies are doing exactly the same thing.

This is just another great example of how we lack a decent justice system in my country! Here some neighbors of a small community that's located relatively close to the ocean waken up to notice how police had to arrest a guy that was caught trying to ribbed a house but got hit by the owner and others. Oh but they didn't care about the robbery but the civilian punishment inflicted on the crook. Guess what? The criminal wears an electronic bracelet!

Didn't you see? United Kingdom and Japan don't wanna purchase or sell the latest cellphone models of the Chinese company (or corporation) Huawei. O_O It seems Trump really managed to make them distrust the Chinese products...

Well, it could be two-fold. It appears that Huawei's chief financial officer Meng Wanzhou committed fraud by lying to US banks about her firm's ties to a telecoms company that did business in Iran... violating Iran Sanctions. But probably moreso, revealed that in 2017, China passed the 'National Intelligence Law' that demanded that all tech companies must ... "support, co-operate with and collaborate in national intelligence work".

Neither being good.

By the way, Microsoft won't sell Huawei merchandise nor Windows to the Chinese company anymore... What's next? Upcoming American movies won't be released in China?

I'm a little frustrated at Twitter for the moment. My account got locked for "Automatic Behavior", but I never had a bot to post random tweets. I can't get past the "Call Me" button because my number isn't an actual number. It's a TextNow number, which Twitter somehow does not support. I tried their support, but that didn't work.  

So it seems that I'm locked out of Twitter forever.

Looks like tornadoes may* be near and hit my home tonight, so I'm going to back up stuff, and pack up what I can carry in one run, and prepare for the possible tornado that might hit. I'm also going to value life over object, so whatever I don't bring down with me is SOL...

After the tornado hits, I'll probably, if the debris is cleared enough to do so, salvage everything that was in the house and just live back with my parents and younger brother, or live with my youngest brother. One of the two. Either way, the place I'm living at right now has no insurance, so there's no recovering the place after a tornado hit.  That's my game plan, at least. I better grab the dog's leash, and a flashlight to bring down with me if I have to get down to the basement immediately.
