MP3 loop performance

I agree, but I've found more and more that midis that sound good out of XP sound awfully "echoy" or even lack certain channels. I don't use MP3s just because, and try to cut them down or swap them for OGGs.

I actually find the SE folder is a major size culprit more often in my projects. :x

Winking with a tongue sticking out Since I had to do a full re-installation of my system, I ... um.... never noticed that .ogg didn't play immediately and you'd need a codex to play them with windows Media Player. Same too if you're using this system and try to play .ogg files. Because of that, I added a link to the xiph website that has the desired codex. An installation file's available if one's needed.

I also removed the text saying that .ogg isn't supported. Meh, I forgot to remove that months ago.

I noticed the audio gap when music restarts, just seems to be the way RMXP is. I've trimmed MP3s in such a way that they sound perfect between the end and beginning in winamp, but still have that noticeable gap in RMXP even without this script.

As for why to use MP3s...they're just easier for me to find. I have little knowledge of editing midis, and most that I do find simply don't sound good through RMXP or lack proper repeating.

Maybe it's the script...not the rmxp

or or it's your computer making your rmxp feel like it did it.

-hates when that happens. Shocked
