i'm getting close to the end. three huge areas, and then the secret final dungeon and boss. i feel kinda like ash ketchum, like i need to lose all the progress i've made so i can keep working on it when it's done. i'm not used to what normal people call "success" so this whole process of getting ready to get done with something is kinda freaking me out.
I don't know if this postcard will find you or not, but I gave the messenger my flask ofbourbon and all my gold to ensure its delivery.
I messed up, but it was a happy accident. I think I added too many chicken feathers to the portal mixture when I was testing out teleportation formulas. I don't know where I am, but there is a swamp, a big mountain, and a prairie nearby. I think I might be on an island, but this place is so big!
The locals here all call themselves "Keptie", and appear to worship some discarded armor that they've propped up on some rocks. They're pretty shy, but are as strong and hardy as would be expected from living in a swamp.
Even though the messenger offered to just bring me with on his mail ship, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to observe such afascinatingly foreign folk.
Please refer to my notes for the formula I used, and make sure your return sigil is charged (unlike mine!)
Looking forward to being rescued,
-Waldo
Making Battlecharsets for a big battle scene. i was really hoping i could die without having to make one, but now i'm just going to have a mid-life crisis at 25
revised endings. i think this is some of the best ive come up with.

ghost soldiers are bound to the island after having been killed in pursuit of the seeds.
Arboreal Appleheart= combined form of the seeds. it absorbs clymidius, who controls it like a mech battle suit, in the shape of a gorilla. it solidifies and compresses him.
good ending- tree portal, portal opens at zero point. everything has to happen because the universe is a matrix containing 99.9999% of possibility. the only thing that cannot happen is that it can't destroy itself. clymidius master hybrid is the final boss. the tree disintegrates into dust. pan out to the atmosphere, the solar system, and the universe. dust appears to create nuerons in the brain of a ladybug.
meh ending- the opening of the portal is interrupted by the onrush of the ghost soldiers led by general capricorn. strayer grabs the seeds and throws them into the ocean. clymidius/stigma hybrid erupt into an enormous green energy-dragon (giygas pt.2) zoom out beyond the moon and the dragon engulfs the earth. in the green haze, the party sees the seeds rise up out of the water to form the Arboreal Appleheart. clymidius is sucked into it, and it acts as a mech suit. towards the end of the fight, clymidius struggles to control it. the appleheart compresses around clymidius, crushing him and creating a black hole. scene change to pod room on spacecraft. characters and npc's have just experienced 100% universal possibility during a fourteen year stasis. characters that are suggested to be the party struggle with their sudden lack of self, and commit suicide.
bad ending- stigma/clymidius want to take the seeds through the veil, plant them, and destroy it. this would free them from the master, but the negative world's collapse would also unravel the positive reality. clymidius angel is the final boss. after he kills lena and absorbs her, she passes through the veil where all four of her forms work together to tug the portal shut. clymidius is exposed, but trapped. nobody ever dies again, but nobody is ever born. kasper loses his mind to the repitition that numbs everyone else.
dude, I'm busy with my own RPG I can't be paying attention to yours. Beside, you think people pay attention to my RPG thread... thought I haven't made much progress.

Tried the demo. I really like the artstyle of the tilesets. I do notice some glitches like being able to walk on walls and roofs but that's easily fixed.
Two observations:
- Equiping urine-smelling capes = gross yet oddly funny.
- I swear I've heard the desert's theme before. It's on the tip of my tongue yet I cannot seem to remember where.
