I need people to commission me sprites and stuff, but no-one will do it until I have a good amount of progress done on my game... like probably more than 10% or something...
So... what I just use RTP until I do?

Aka... Temporary placeholders and graphics. That way you can some maps, events and your game's storyline going.

That is the thing... I need tileset commissions too because my game cannot consist entirely of one desert tileset, especially when the Vrkhazhi have their own style of architecture that the RTP does not reflect.
There are things that I absolutely CANNOT use RTP for.

The new giant tree looks like an over-sized lettuce, methinks.
I encountered a bizarre bug, for a lack of a better description, regarding Method and Class Library. For some mystifying reason, it doesn't let you change the graphic of the player to nothing. The command will just not work.

NOW in terms of my own things, I am working on my RPG Maker game in VX Ace after I'm finally able to understand a bit about it. I was able to accomplish, in a test map, two major effects my game needs, so right now I'm feeling pretty good about the progress of my game. I'll probably be posting a synopsis of the game in the next week or so now that I'm getting somewhere!

I gave it another go and the problem persist. Most perplexing.

easily solved... change graphic to a 1x1 picture that's a transparent png. (I encountered same issue, this solved it)

Default RPG Maker XP can do this, so if your Methods and Class library can't, that's a bug.
