Welcome to Grausigheim[contest game]

This game were made for a competition called RTP-contest on rmxp.org. I'm posting it here. It's really small so I decided to call it a demo. However, it is completed as my goal was to make a demo for the contest and that goal I have achieved. It's lots of interesting event systems in the game which you are all free to copy if you want. I'll make a tutorial sometime.

• No custom graphics (pictures and title screens made in ms paint is an exception)

Storyline
This is a sandbox rpg taking place in the land of Grausigkeitheim. Your character's back story is up to you.

Maybe I complete this sometime, I don't know.

I tried the demo and there are a few problems:
Space is not jump and shift is not run, it's Q and W.
I jumped over the fence to the sheeps and bought a map for 0 Gold, when I opened it the game freezes.
When I attack, the attack animation is shown on the char and not on the enemy.
I can press D as fast as I can and so I can kill an enemy very fast, maybe you should build in a wait phase.

With more improvement this would getter even better. Also I'm curious about the name :D where did you get the idea for the name Grausigheim?

Grausig means something like dread in german if I'm not mistaken. I liked the sound of it :D

Ok I see :D yeah it means dread or horrible^^ I was just wondering :D

I think I'll have to learn german sometime. :)
Currently I'm learning french, but when that is finished maybe.

french I learned when I was on another school, but this is 3 years ago :D I didn't like it much and I don't know many words now :/ I want to learn japanese later. I like this language^^

I have also thought about learning japanese sometime, but I don't think I ever really do it.
