Old movies.
Seriously, why is it that when I suggest a movie, a bunch of people are like "Oh, that's an old movie...." as if movies have an expiration date or go stale. Hell, some older TV shows are written better than the ... oh, hell. Who am I kidding. Today's TV is riddled with lame Un-Reality TV shows.
Thank God for re-runs and stuff.

I actually liked Batman V Superman movie. Nobody else I know thinks it's a good movie. For the record, I hated Suicide Squad and everyone else likes it. I think it's so unfair that Star Trek Beyond lost that makeup Oscar to Suicide Squad. And I'm not saying that just because I'm a Trekkie. I think any human being with a brain will agree.

AGREED. Old movies are often superior to newer ones. I find that more recent films often rely too heavily on CGI. For example, take John Carpenter's "The Thing", and try to recreate those awesome special, practical effects with CGI and we can compare the results.

Even the artists in my family are like... "Oh. and what's it for?" Like art all of a sudden has to have function, and can't just look nice.

Lately I could say that what I like but no one else seems to love as much as I do would be poetry itself, I keep finding people that find it either boring, old fashioned, ridiculous, hurtful, difficult to appreciate, etc.

I love dubbed anime. Particularly ADV/Sentai Filmworks/Maiden Japan dubs. This garners me massive weeb-hate on anime forums.

You're not alone. I'm pretty dang familiar with some actor voices always cropping up here and there, be it Johnny Yong Bosch (aka Kaneda from Akira, Ichigo kurosaki from Bleach or Vash the Stampede from Trigun), Crispin Freeman (aka Zelgadis from Slayers, Balmung of the Azure Sky from hack//SIGN, or of course Alucard from Hellsing), or... Wendee Lee (geez... Robotech, Dirty Pair (Yuri), Ninja Scroll, Cowboy Bebop (Faye), Outlaw Star(Suzuka), Tenchi Muyo, Witch Hunter Robin, Bleach (Yoruichi... and directing), and 'NOW' as Bulma...
My computer desktop theme has Michelle Ruff laugh at me (from 'Dual') when I have an error/glitch.
