Introduction

I introduce you to... Nope, it's not Aluxes, it's a new script indeed! It was inspired by a fellow member's request by the way... It's just some sort of endurance or sturdy + anti-sturdy set of states!  

This means you might let a hero get the ability to resist hits and keep either 1 HP or some specific percent instead!  
Sadly, its counterpart also exists... It should let your hero with 1 HP (or any other value you've picked) meaning not even healing spells and items can cure him.

The idea is that the chosen heroes or monsters will only benefit from this state or passive skill once per battle.

KEndurePassive is the classic sturdy state that gets activated automatically as a passive skill.
KEndureStates is the original implementation that works as pure states only.
KEndure ACE is different from any other version for it uses notetags.

Maintenance Update

Recently I noticed that I just forgot to take into account add_state's second argument because it's optional, you know.
I seriously recommend users to update my script as soon as possible to prevent you from reading weird pop up messages at any given time.

Important Update

I have revamped my script and made sure it works as intended.
Besides I have uploaded its first demo already!
Trash any old versions of KEndure and get a fresh copy of the latest version now!
By the way, it now includes a new feature!

Very Important Update

Some user that I started to "hate" kept telling me my script didn't work even after I had released the previous demo.
Sadly, he was right about a bug.
The Basic Endure and Cursed Endure states worked pretty much fine but Endure 2 didn't.
I had to fix that and keep testing my demo under slightly different circumstances. Now the third kind of Endure state works as well!
Yeah, it was about time it did.

Interesting Update

From now on you can pick any of my two scripts to implement your Endure or Sturdy state. KEndurePassive is a complete rewrite of my script to allow it to behave as the classic sturdy where you don't really need to do anything to get it activated, unless you forgot to include it by default.  
I'm keeping the original state based implementation by renaming it as KEndureStates. It has a quite descriptive name, don't you think?

Some ACE Update Has Arrived

Now you can also get the version of my script for VX Ace well.
So go ahead and download either the script file with rb extension (a simple text file) or the KEndureACE RAR file alias my compressed demo and playtest it as many times as needed, guys!

Should I pick XP or VX or maybe Both?

Well, that question would not matter anymore for you can get my updated version of my script either if you love XP or prefer to keep using VX!
Of course, ACE users still got their own version. The thing is I only had to update the XP and VX versions to allow game developers to activate or deactivate the Force Single Endure State feature at any given time. It sounds convenient indeed! Don't you think?

Bumped Alert!

I have updated the KEndurePassive XP script and uploaded a new demo!
Now it should only let you rely on the passive skill Endure for the turns you set in your States database. What I mean here is that you can't get the Endure effect twice in battle. If those 3 turns are over, you would just get killed by the monster!
What if you have been revived by a fellow hero?
Well, you would be among the living once again.
Seriously, that is all you will ever get from Endure. It will NOT repeat itself. Of course, it will get "replenished" automatically after the battle ends.
