Welcome dear readers to the latest issue of the Weekly Gazette! Here in the Gazette, we give you the news in brief of what occurred in the past week as well as provide any news happening in Save-Point itself

Official Area
Announcements and Updates
Earlier today, Kirito that there were going to be some Server Upgrades, the first being a long-term support upgrade that was meant to take mere seconds. He later announced that another upgrade is planned to take place later, roughly two week away.

Occasions
New in the forum this week is Jursed, a newcomer to using RPGMaker XP, but not new to roleplaying as he is involved in art and table-top RPGs. Jursed's games are suggested as horrible as they are only for their taste. With that, DerVVulfman appreciated Jursed's interest in table-top gaming and replied the only horrible game ever banned was made to be intentionally cruel. Remi-chan also introduced herself and welcomed Jursed, but was mistaken when she thought the game was by a developer she was acquainted, DerVVulfman stating it was another whose game was removed before she had even joined.

General Chat
This week, the idea that bad things come in threes appears to solidly be What's on the mind of DerVVulfman, as that indeed appears to be the case this month. He recently had issue with his Air Conditioning this month. But before he could resolve the situation, county property tax appeared to also give him headaches. And even though he had plans for the first, and paid off the taxes to resolve the second, the third had appeared. Whilst indoors, someone struck DerVVulfman's car and damaged its front driver's side wheel. So now, he has an appointment with a garage to have his car undergo repairs.

China was certainly within this week's News of the World, with Chinese and Russian bombers skating into U.S. Air defence zones together, Italy signing a 3-year pledge with China to bolster economics amidst fear of a trade war with the EU, the Phillipeans reaching a provisional agreement halting hostilities that came to a head when China began actively attacking and boarding supply ships, and China's hosting of Hamas and Palestine Islamic Jihad that suggests another cease-fire such as the one Hamas broke on October 7, 2023. But along with that, Hungary is now in debt to China for 1 Billion Euros. And despite half the Chinese Swim Team testing positive for doping and won medals during the Tokyo games, the Olympic Committee threatens the US not to raise any further concerns that nearly a dozen of those caught are now returning for the Paris games. Russia too was in the news, as a second war flotilla enters Cuban waters while planning to build oil refineries, lost an oil refinery in their war with Ukraine, now sentanced Russian-American reporter Alsu Kurmasheva of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty in a secret trial to over 6 years in jail for stories about the Russian Military. Of elections, Venezuela is a hotbed of malfeasance and corruption as even other Latin American nations with friendly ties refuses to appear. This after President Maduro threatened both a bloodbath and civil war if he does not win the election. And while Maryland Governor Moore went on to speak on Biden's behalf suggesting he was bullied into stepping down, US House Representative Tony Gonzales of Texas seeks to remind the US that Vice President Kamala Harris was indeed put in charge of the Southern Border by President Biden and was an abject failure, never once even visiting. Nicaragua's abject torture and ban of 8000 Catholic events documented by the UN's Human Rights, three Paletinian Terrorists caught crossing the US border with an AK-47, Ukraine's foreign minister considering peace talks despite President Zelensky's refusal, Cubans caught in the middle of the Ukraine/Russia war claiming its better than being under Cuban rule, and much more hit this week's news.

Tech Talk
This week's News of the Cyberworld was about Vice President Kamala Harris, China-owned TikTok supporting her with memes whilst the Biden/Harris administration never once used the 2021 $42 Billion Infrastructure Bill to connect anyone with High-Speed internet as promised. The effects of the Crowdstrike linger on as US officials have begun investigating Delta Airlines, the hardest hit with the largest backlog and the most in flight costs to refund. Another strike by the Screen Actors Guild is now in play against video game companies, demanding the abolishment of AI that threatens their jobs for voiceover work, companies such as Disney, Activision, Electronic Arts and voiceover AI companies such as Formosa Interactive are named. This, and much more hit this week's cybernews.

Games Development
Development Discussion
Early this week, massive games were What's up among RMers, with Melana wondering how to go through hundreds of lines of dialogue just to repeatedly change a character's name. As it turns out, DerVVulfman had some utility scripts already available. After that, Remi-chan posted to what extent she had been working upon her game, updating cinematics, altering all her maps and combat arenas, and posted her stickynotes of things that needed to be accomplished. Along with that, she posted some newly received portraits of her artwork and revealed that DerVVulfman has been proofreading and error-testing her game.

Creativity Section
Music and Audio
For those who wish to have a game set within the mean streets of a cyber-punk world, then the recent compositions by Eric Matyas may be what you are looking for. As he is still Sharing His Original Music and Sound FX, he has plenty of tunes such as his recent work, "Midnight Streets". His new synth melody is slow, but with steel against steel and sporatic pulses here and there to make one unease.

Art and Design
They say the Road to Hell is paved with good intentions. Not so true as Starmage's Arts and Training Journey found it was actually paved with family sitcoms. Enter Delvin, a teenager who only wishes to hang out with his friends. However, his father and older sister have decided to put their foot down and live up to their expectations.

If one chooses to gaze upon Remi-chan's Neato Arty thread thing, they may find more than what they expect. A recently created character within her universe is the personification of Sloth. A vision of violet whom has no qualms to lazily reveal her demonic nature. And is her wont, she produced and uploaded a matching 12-minute speed-draw video of her art's progress. Her next piece was an illustration of herself at rest, a notice of sorts to inform watchers that she is taking a break from game development. But only for game development as she made multiple illustrations of characters within her game's universe, be it youthful versions of characters most evil, a heroine whom has a deep affinity for hopping long-eard puffballs, and even pencilwork still appearing within her sketchbook.

Well, that's it for this week.
