In my world, I've been pursuing a music minor, but because of money and a general burnt-out-on-school feeling, I don't know if I am going to finish out the program. This was sparked by a sudden appearance of several mechanical engineering positions for Gibson Guitar in Nashville and California, and I'm having a hard time not trying to go for one of them right now. Such a mixture of engineering and music is like a dream for me, but I feel like I have committed myself to some things at people and school. So what do I do? Stick around for the sake of commitments or take off for my own betterment, hoping that doing so doesn't burn all of my bridges? Life, she can be a cruel mistress.

I'm personally thinking of downloading Ys Seven onto my PSP. I could do with another classic fantasy RPG to get into (I've tried Trails in the Sky and while it plays really well the incest subtext just makes me feel really uncomfortable doing so).

I'm not exactly back but there's a VERY specific reason why I'm posting in this thread. Just saw something that really didn't sit well with me and I thought I'd share it with anyone who's into American politics.

"21-page memorandum of understanding that the Obama and Romney campaigns negotiated with the Commission on Presidential Debates establishing the rules governing this month's presidential and vice presidential face-offs. The upshot: Both cam
paigns are terrified at anything even remotely spontaneous happening.

They aren't permitted to ask each other questions, propose pledges to each other, or walk outside a "predesignated area." And for the town-hall-style debate tomorrow night, the audience members posing questions aren't allowed to ask follow-ups (their mics will be cut off as soon as they get their questions out). Nor will moderator Candy Crowley.

Most bizarrely, given the way the debates have played out, the rules actually appear to forbid television coverage from showing reaction shots of the candidates: "To the best of the Commission's abilities, there will be no TV cut-aways to any candidate who is not responding to a question while another candidate is answering a question or to a candidate who is not giving a closing statement while another candidate is doing so." The "best of the Commission's abilities" must be rather feeble, seeing as how almost every moment of the two debates so far was televised in split-screen, clearly showing shots of a "candidate who is not responding to a question while another candidate is answering a question.""

Gary johnson is a centrist. I dont like him though. Hes not as good as obama: if he runs agian next time; I will prolly vote Gary in.provided Hillary Clinton doesnt try one more time.

I hate the third party argument though. They think the only reason there is no third party is that independents vote for the less of two evils rather then third party. dont they know Liberals and conservatives actually exist?

Anyway, on my mind: the math test that was sheduled for today was moved untill after the hollidays =D Yay! More time to learn! ...I'll probably need it...XD'
Also, I have to finish a text untill tomorrow. It just has to be one page long but I really, really don't feel like writing it. At all. Which of course is bad.
I've basically sat here the entire afternoon and evening, trying to get it over and done with and I'm not anywhere near completion. Good grief x__x I'd rather continue writing on my story or do other school stuff XD'
