 Maps and screenshots thread
not really a screenshot, but i'm working on crafting my world map so i can get a better idea of the positions of things, and how they will look once i translate it to 2d. ive really wanted to just straight up build my world with that scenery you can buy for model train sets, but this is cheaper.

wat?

that's a really cool transition. do you have an XP script or instructions? the transition made me think of that sound effect from Link To The Past when you warp between the light and dark worlds.

First, some simple disco fog-

This is Le'Haus Du'Style. Run by a douchey european fashionista named Formico. He will eventually sell new outfits for the characters, but for now just sells windowskins. The BGM on this map is a midi rendition "I'm Too Sexy" by Right Said Fred.

I use this > https://github.com/Funkywork/Scripts-rm/..._bitmap.rb
But on RMXP, you don't have Graphics.snap_to_bitmap, you must use 'screenshot.dll

i have no idea how to use that. beyond the normal functions, i have no clue how to use any of this computer stuff.

Holy Cave! this cave had some cave in issues after an earthquake.

i need a charset for a flopping fish. it's going to be a key of sorts, but can't find it. i know one exists, i just lost it years ago. i'll zazz up this map sooner or later, i'm just glad to be done with it. it's the downstairs of the above map. it's all leading down to a ship that's parked at the bottom, but there was a cave in. i'll put a rockpile or two in to keep up the continuity

I like these overviews that you've showed. It's obvious that you went to great detail to make the curves of the cave and water look more natural even though you are stuck using square tiles.
