Version: 1.0

(Eilei's version was dated September 9, 2007)
Introduction
This system allows you to have locks to pick in your game. Success turns on specified switches or event self switches. And failure may result in a broken lockpick if so configured.
Unlike the original version by Eilei, Lockpicks does not require the SDK.
Demo

Instructions
For ideas, See the three chests for the two ways to use this script; two puts the lockpicking result in each event's own self switches, the third turns on a specified global switch.

Author's Notes
A copy of the original script by Eilei is in the demo, the script itself 'commented' out to prevent it from functioning/conflicting with the new version. And Eilei's original post can be found: Here
Compatibility
Designed solely for RPGMaker XP, but this revised version no longer requires the RMXP SDK system.
Credits and Thanks
Obvious thanks to Eilei who wrote and posted the original script at HBGames.Org (when it was RMXP.Org) back in 2007. Revised because the original demo and resources no longer exist at the site.
Terms and Conditions
Free for use, even in commercial games. But due credit must be given to Eilei as well as myself.
