Nope. I don't see much of a point in turning the feature off either. If you want the player to be invisible behind a tree for a cutscene, you could use the [Set Event Location] to swap a transparent tree with a fully solid tree. There are always workarounds, but I don't plan or intend to make an off switch for this feature.
