Honestly, I can even notice on the very same samples provided by the publisher that the swords or any other weapons are just copied and pasted over and over again. Confused

I also felt something like that after purchasing Kokoro Reflections' weapons pack alias weaponsmith. At least it doesn't cost you $20 like the Visu-scam over there.

IDEAS.  Okay, specifically OpenChest...

First, KUDOS!

Second, the name "Loot Chest" is fixed.  Can you make it possible to change the name of the item/container being searched because this could be used for Dressers, Closets, or the like.

Third, hehehe... a "SNAG ALL" button?  Someone may see the contents of a chest and say "I'll take it". The same could be said for dropping off all items into a chest or the like.

Fourth, visuals.  Just talking font and background control to decorate it.  You already did an excellent job on shifting between the chest and the party bag.

Okay yeah that Visustella icons pack definitely is very close to a scam. How utterly insipid.

I recommend browsing the unity asset store if you want icons that aren't cheap recolors.

This one, while being a dollar less, has over 4,200 icons, and you can see what you're getting. They can be scaled down to the size you want.

On my own front, I of course had other intentions for the "homework" I did for Scomicmaker, all along I put the doomslayer and various demons in their own layers so I could hide them on demand.

Why did I do this? Simply! It made it easy to make good key art for Seraphim.

Anyone wanna make their game look.... Windows--y?

A series of Widgets...  Windows gadgets... that look familiar and are completely functional.  I currently have:

  1. WINDOWS:  Yes, they can be dragged around the screen.  The Title Bars can be empty and not have titles, and the little X button in the corner can close them.  I do not have any Minimize/Maximize buttons ... as yet. And they are not gradient, but merely solid color.

  2. BUTTONS:  What do you expect?  They need not have text within. But they can be enabled and disabled, and do have a 'click' effect so they are recessed when activated.

  3. CHECK BOXES:  Now those come in three flavors:  Classic checkbox with red checkmark, Radio button with red dot when checked, and Square Button that is recessed when checked.  With the exception of the Square button, the optional name of the checkbox appears to the box's right.

  4. LIST BOXES:  Those can show your data... duh!  Your selection does get highlighted. And clicking the displayed name brings up the data it is attached.  For example, clicking the Cotton Hat in the bottom right armor list could bring up its Armor ID.

  5. ICON BOXES:  Well, that's a bit newer.  You can have an icon with its item name displayed below.. and this connected to...

  6. ICON BOX LISTS:  Where you can have a multitude of List boxes.   I'm working on it so I can handle spacing better and allow clearer list box names

  7. SCROLL BARS:  Both horizontal and vertical scrollbars exist!  I now have better scrolling than in my Layered Spritesheet tool..... JOY!

It's not in premium condition, working with a few lesser options.  I do want to make a few more windows-based features such as the Combo dropdown box and allow for Minimize/Maximize buttons for the Windows themselves.  And gawd, I have NO clue (yet) how to resize the windows.  I also need to see about group linking items whereby you have three radio boxes and clicking one un-clicks the others. 

And later, I wish to implement keyboard tabbing and control.  In general, the system should be able to create a Hotkey list when you use an 'Underline' in a button's name.. Whenever you saw a button marked [Exit], the underlined X would be a hotkey letting you use Control+X as well.

And believe it or not... this is just me piddling around.

Is there anything more annoying than wanting to open up an old project and find that your brand new editor will no longer open it because of the project's age?

Fear not dear friends. It's not one of my RPGMaker XP demos. Technically, you just need to swap out the Game.exe, Game.rxproj and update your Game.Ini file to use the more updated .dll if you ever run into that case... which is why supplying the rgss.dll is always a good idea anyway.

But no. The project is a highly intensive help document for one of my old works. As to the age of the project, I would say it has been nearly a decade since I actually updated it enough to warrant a new help file. And it is not a light project either, boasting well over 60 topics within.

Not only does my help-file editor refuse to open my older project, but it cannot even import the existing help file... the built-in variables controlling how the help file navigates having changed so drastically. So... I have been forced...

TO RETYPE THE WHOLE BLOODY THING!!!!!

Sarcasm I;ve already gone through my Nobou Uematsu collection of game CDS (Final Fantasy VII, VIII), Suikoden II, Dune Spice Opera, the Ara Fell OST, Skyrim OST... More to work on....

RPG Maker XP is the only program I know where I've encountered this issue and it boggles the mind. It's not like there are different versions of RMXP that could cause incompatibility... Or are there? If so, that could explain everything.
