Welcome dear readers to the latest issue of the Weekly Gazette! Here in the Gazette, we give you the news in brief of what occurred in the past week as well as provide any news happening in Save-Point itself

Official Area
General Chat
Within this week's News of the World upset Democrats in the U.S. as the U.S. Supreme Court confirmed Presidents have immunity, but only for official acts. While some seek to impeach the Court, Trump lawyers seek to have the New York Guilty verdict under Judge Merchan thrown out. And insofar as U.S. Immigration, a report revealed that the Biden administration has been flying in Cameroonians without valid asylum claims back to the U.S after they were deported. This while U.S. Border agents busted gun smuggling with weapons bound for Mexican Cartels, Mexican Immigration Officers halted a tractor Trailer with over 60 migrants bound for Texas. The Israel/Hamas war continues as the IDF destroyed a kilometer long tunnel under Gaza used by Hamas to smuggle weapons to various branched locations, and the Islamic Jihad rocket production factory found within. And despite claims that neither Hezbollah, Lebanon, nor even Iran wants a war, U.S. Secretary Blinken made a claim that Israel lost sovereignty of their northern border from Hezbolla rocket fire. China's failing Real Estate Industry, Australia increasing Foreign Student Visa fees in retaliation to China College takeovers, French police halting "a hostile group" of 800 breaking into Lyon's town hall to protest Le Pen's conservative win, Putin again rejecting another round of Ukraine peace talks, U.S. Democrats demanding Biden answer questions about his age, Rishi Sunak resigning as U.K.'s Prime Minister and quits Tory leadership, and more hit this week's news

Development Discussion
The capabilities of game projects were What's up with RMers this week as DerVVulfman answered Steel Beast 6Beets's query over RPGMaker XP's limitations. But as Steel Beast 6Beets is worried as to the size of his main project, DerVVulfman suggested some things that could be the cause of memory spikes. After that, DerVVulfman began talking about his latest scripting endeavor where actors can purchase stat bonuses after gaining levels, but bonuses that could be removed if their level decreases. Meanwhile, Remi-chan showed appreciation to Kain Nobel who praised her work effort, and then provided a recent remaster of one of the scenes from her game, Fantasia. After that, Remi-chan spread some good news that she received more character art for her game from her artist, and some new charsets she frankensprited to match.

Complete Projects
Released just last week was A Sun-Kissed Fantasy. And released this week is a video by Starmage showing some gameplay of her recent release. Along with that, she also posted some concept art for characters David and Carmina.

Material Development
Scripts Database
If you have RPGMaker XP, DerVVulfman worked out his own means to let heroes apply bonuses to their hero's scores with DerVV's Increasing Stats. A system to track bonus points which can be applied to character statistics of their heroes and give spending points to pay for the bonuses, it is a framework system in which to build. And unlike others of its ilk, DerVVulfman claims it tracks points added so they may be removed as an actor loses levels.

One more RPGMaker XP script created by DerVVulfman was DerVV's Point-Increasing Status Menu. Utilizing his recent Increasing Stats system, it alters the default Status Menu so the player can distribute bonus points to the Actor's stats, spending points along the way.

Creativity Section
Music and Audio
For those who wish to add a touch of unease or dread within a game normally within a technologically advanced setting, you may find comfort that Eric Matyas has Original Music and Sound FX to Share. Besides being available for custom work and commissions, he has released another composition within his Sci-Fi section. Feel the unease and claustrophobia when playing "Death Canyon", a short but powerful looping work that echoes unease when venturing into the unknown. If it is to your liking, do remember he has over 250 sci-fi compositions in Ogg format for sale.

Art and Design
It is not often that one ventures within Remi-chan's Neato Arty thread thing and find a creation not based upon her videogame works. Indeed, this time one may find within a portrait of a character that Remi had created for a Dungeons and Dragons campaign, a typical diminuitive halfling with not-so-typical blasters in hand. Long platinum hair bound within a weave, Remi decided to also add a second render of her so-entitled Grumpy Gremlin which she drew using MSPaint alone.

Venture along side our intrepid golden-haired game developer and see sights unveiled at last within Starmage's Arts and Training Journey. Working to developer her own style, Starmage had chosen to grace us with dozens of pieces she has made, both new and old. Find within some fan art from Final Fantasy VII, and work for her games like Rave Heart or Elf's Diary. See works based upon characters from the Grandia series, and works based upon Rem-Chan's own universe. So much to see within as Starmage continues finding her way and finding a style that she can perfect.

Literature Section
The Bibliotheca
It has been over three years since he had put pen to paper, but at long last kyonides has delivered a long awaited chapter. Within Looking for a Save Point: The Mission,a collection of would-be heroes based upon forum members were offered a job, one that required them to enter a dreaming world to find information about a dire threat. Each of the heroes faced some trial, one apparently singled out with an ordeal of punishment and malace. But within the latest chapter, all appears calm with everyone now in the waking world until one realizes not everything is as it seems and the fate of one of his party still hangs in the balance.

Well, that's it for this week.
